Alive 1965: new paintings is the unveiling exhibition of selected works from “Beyond the Golden Ratio: Book 1965” – a 100-painting series in progress. The artist presents her early sketchbook pages as new paintings that reflect a post war approach to art. The title “Beyond the Golden Ratio: Book 1965” refers to early 20th century painting theories introduced to the bay area after World War I as the modern movement. A copy of the original book page source in the photos accompanies each painting.
